You do know that chiropractors are a sham right? It creates "pain" that isn't there via placebo effect, you "know" your back has an "issue" so you expect it, and therefore feel things that aren't there. Have you ever noticed most chiropractors do everything different from other chiropractors? It's because there's no actual agreed upon method, and not even the slightest shred of evidence of it's positive effect, they all basically make it up and run with it. Look up the origins of chiropractics and you'll be amazed, it's a hell of a grift

In Europe no one uses tool belts to carry 15 pounds of tools, technicians usually have a tool box? They put it in the middle of the room they re working in, then only put in the tool belt the strict minimum for the task they re working on in that moment, and switch tools when needed, I dont see the point of carrying everything at the same time, that's just asking for trouble.

I’m in the states and I tend to agree. I bring my belt and a bag to the job and then take the belt off and grab things from it as I need. The only time I really work with one on is if I have to go up a ladder and work and don’t want to keep going up and down.

Stretch daily, or a few times a week. Do yoga, it keeps you limber. It's not sissy when you are 70 years old and can still jump and skip around like a youngster. The best thing to have in old age is: 1.) Good Health/Diet (strong correlation) 2.) Flexibility 3.) Strength ...in that order! When you are flexible, you are less likely to injure your self by movement. You are less likely to over extend your body because you will be flexible enough to extend that far! Every movement will feel so much more comfortable when you are mindful of how your body is moving, and when you are focused on your breathing. Daily / few times a week stretching or yoga will help you indefinitely!!! Start now, it's never too late or too early.

Ryan Shaw Hahaha Exactly I always tell people the reason they have back pain is really because they don’t stretch lol stretch your legs entirely, hips, and core and most people would be surprised how much tension and stiffness would be relieved in their back. Not only does stretching help prevent aches and pain but it makes you less stretched and leaves you feeling a little bit looser and fresher. From what I’ve found anyway.

Had a 101 degree fever/sinus infection for the ENTIRE time I was working. Went to a chiropractor like 2 months after I quit and he was like “surprise”, and adjusted something in my neck. I haven’t had a sinus infection since. Guess I had an accessory nerve pinched that affects muscle tension in your face/sinuses. Love your channel man. I’m in Houston, got the Tdlr license and have been at it since October. The master I work for gets awesome gigs like Starbucks and I’ve been involved in quite a few new or remodels within a 2 hour radius. Absolutely love it man, your videos are spot on. I’m 37 and like a master carpenter who learned that craft since childhood from my Vietnam Marine Corp veteran dad who passed in 2013. I do really nice cabinet and trim work but changed to electrical because I need the money ceiling to be higher than the 25 I got to. Working by myself was hard to get what I deserved pay wise. Started electrical at half that and have been working hard to impress and climb. My prior experience working with materials and working hard and efficient have put me on the fast track a little (3 raises so far!). Got to work in galleria mall and things like that. Love commercial work, feels cool to be behind the scenes like we electricians do. I’ve always respected electricians and always declined to mess with it as a carpenter in residential work. Been an exciting learning experience and channels like yours are awesome. I’m looking forward to being a journeyman so I guess I wanted to ask if you could make a video on what’s expected at this next level. I’m sure the journeys themselves may know, but as an apprentice I would like to know where my focus should be for the next few years. I’ve looked up videos on how to read multimeters in different situations and minor things like that. Thanks again man.

You should take a small bottle of "liquid skin / liquid bandage" with you. They are antiseptic so they burn like a mother when you apply it, but they conceal and clean a cut or scrape really well if you put 2 coats on. Takes up a lot less room than a box of bandaids, and it's more convenient and effective.

I go grocery shopping once a week, pick up a bunch of chicken breasts, canned beans and instant rice. Picked up a bunch of tupperware from Target and I marinade and grill off about 10lbs of chicken at the beginning of the week and have protein for lunch AND dinner for all the days I am working (I also do side sprinkler system work on weekends) so I ALWAYS have food available. It's cheap and doesn't take up that much time if you take one day on the weekend to prep all your meals for the whole week! Your body will thank you! 15 minutes of stretching, 45 minutes of cardio, 15 minutes of meditation, broccoli and hummus or celery and nut butter for breakfast, meal prepped red beans, brown rice with some peppers, onions and rotisserie chicken and/or egg whites (drenched in hot sauce) or rotisserie chicken and sweet potatoes for lunch, stretch after work and eat whatever for dinner as long as its still natural, unprocessed foods. (not to mention never drinking energy drinks, soda, juice etc.) joint/back pain can be prevented with the right food that contains anti-inflammatories and stretching.

Great advice! I’ve gotta metal in my eye before. It’s horrible! 3rd year in and I really need to bring a lunch! Great advice!
@ezzye58404 жыл бұрын
I had a cow worker about 15 years ago, he was cutting a metal pipe EMT without eye protection and sadly to say, metal went into his eye and of course his instinct was to rub his eye with his hand and it just fuck it up. Long story short , so they had to pull out his right eye out because it was just getting so infected that it was starting to affect his other eye. That is so present in my life that every time I'm cutting out something above my head I am sweating balls lol!!

Man this video has me feeling down. I was looking forward to becoming an electrician because I have some experience with it and I was told it's the trade that has the least physical toll on your body. I was told you could work this job til you're old because it just doesn't break you down like the others. What's what man? Who's right. I like the science of electricity so I figured I would enjoy this job but after watching this video I feel messed up 'cause I'm healthy have never smoked or drank in my life and I like feeling good. I want to be a good citizen and work and be a productive member of society but the one thing I value most is my peace of mind. I can't have that with a broken body. I really don't want to pick up guns again. I'm truly upset.

John Doe I was interested in plumbing, but for these same reasons, I looked into being an electrician instead. Lo and behold, same painful results when you get older smh maybe try mechanic?
@esl40583 жыл бұрын
Anything we do with our bodies will be difficult when we get old because everyone’s bodies eventually break down. My plan is to eventually become a foreman or project manager. It’s not as fun and a lot of paperwork but it’s better and safer when you are older.

For all you gus here I can recommend movement by David for stretching. He shows different levels of the same stretch, came from being super unstretchy to mega flexy and backs it up with science while still being entertaining enough so my Adhd brain follows. Hugs to you and take care

@@DripFlowin I wish you the best then! :)) Over here in Germany the tradition of journeyman is still alive. Who knows maybe you are interested to journey with your craft after your apprenticeship. I'm sure even if you are from a country that doesn't do it, the folks will take you in gladly. They had some ties with Netherlands that kinda died down and a few years back the first one from over there joined a bunch of German, Swiss, Austrian journeyman who have reached him the way to dress and travel as a journeyman.

You have to work out...work is not enough to stay in shape. Stretching, foam rolling, take gallon jug with you and getting sport massages too. Nothing beats getting Sleep! You can literally eat specifically for it and get rid of it by keeping that regiment..Its the molecular fat cells which is why people get it.

CBD is amazing my back is fucked herniated my t5 but helps my pain i dont take pain pills that shit is bad for you i dont get high i dont drink im preety sure cbd is legal in all states but i live in canada weed is legal but i dont smoke its a wast of time
@JohnDoe-us1ek5 жыл бұрын
Arden Nielsen Why would CBD get you fired if it pops up on your drug test? You don’t get high from it unless you get the ones with THC in it? It’s literally just a more natural pain killer, anti inflammatory, mood enhancing(in terms of anxiety) supplement. Genuinely curious if your company would actually fire someone over CBD use when it’s an over the counter supplement?

#2 tip = MEAL PREP! sunday night make lunch for the entire week. put them in little containers and then throw the containers in a lunch bag. I like to throw chicken breast in the instant pot. It's really easy and you can cook an entire week worth of chicken. put some spinach or green beans on the side.

#1 tip I have when it comes to avoiding diabetes. If you drink soda make sure you get the real cane sugar soda. Your body isn't supposed to be processing this high fructose corn syrup. That stuff should be considered toxic waste & don't put it into your body. Real sugar or just drink water.
