That’s awesome to see, it’s great to see you sharing what you have! The locals pronunciation of the Island names is interesting, I can remember ‘One Island’ was pronounced ‘oh-nee’. If I’m lucky enough to return, I’ll certainly be taking lots of goodies to share, l remember towels were a much sought after commodity. I’d also take a lot of writing and basic school items. They are a beautiful people. Lots of barracuda, which means it’s possible, at a certain time of the year, they may get schooling hammerheads.....!? That’s been my experience in the Coral Sea! Thanks Jack. We try to give away and trade as much as we can. The kids do like, schoolbooks, pens etc. T shirts, flour, sugar, corned beef (which we don't eat) and cigarettes (we don't smoke) are all very popular. We don't see many sharks on our dives and if we do they are usually small whalers or reef sharks which keep their distance.
