Episode 44: Adam Gray Returns

On episode forty four of Holy Ghost Notes, Matt and Tim are joined, once again, by their friend Adam Gray (of Texas In July) and it gets personal. Adam talks about his newfound enthusiasm for reading books, brought on by his fresh college career. Through many a shared laugh, the guys talk video games, tour life, "normal life", writing music, and answer some listener questions. To top it all off, Adam drops some wisdom around mental health and how he deals with anxiety.

I'm a man of God and I've struggled a little bit here and there with idolizing people but Adam gray was one of those struggles. I absolutely love his character, personality, and drumming of course. I hope he understands a lot of people look up to him.

I saw Texas in July live for the first time on their farewell tour in Pittsburgh and I never thought I would get to see them live again. I'm driving 4 hours to see them play at the Christmas Burns Red show and I would drive 10 if I had to. Texas in July is not just a good metalcore band but they write some of the best music in the genre and in my opinion should be as big or bigger than ABR. I hope this reunion show is the start of something amazing. P.S. I can't wait wait to throw down to Santa Clause Is Coming to Town
