Look into confounding conundrum. That enchantment shuts down nadus land production and if you land it early all opponents fetch lands. Plus it replaces itself on cast.

33:25 does the rog sac to tower work similarly to convoking and using wall of roots for mana. The spells resolves fully before the costs are paid fully? Or is it because tower is a mana ability and you announce the spell fully with rog on the table and and the tower not using the stack it works? Judge!! lol.

Rog is in the graveyard as you cast the spell, if you have any dies triggers they go on the stack after the spell you’re casting does If you’re interested in learning more about this specific type of ruling you can look up how the KCI deck in modern worked since it abused this mechanic for a couple combos.

Is there a reason they didn't just use the same formatting as Galvanic Discharge released in the exact same set? "Choose target creature or planeswalker. You get  (three energy counters), then you may pay any amount of . Galvanic Discharge deals that much damage to that permanent." So, "You get 3 E, then you may pay any amount of E. Each player may exile their hands and draw that many cards. If you paid 7 or more E, you may play cards exiled by Wheel of Potential until the end of the turn."
