Yes, there are rooms for couples. It just happens that on the day we visited the hotel, they were all occupied. Check their website for further information

Hey, is it possible to go back the Arusha route on the way back? What happens to the logbook someone leaves at Lunga Lunga? And I didn't catch how much it costs to rent the vehicle in Nungwi?

Yes it is possible but the route is longer if you want to return to Mombasa. If you will return using a different border, just tell the Customs at the border and you will be given back your logbook. The car costs $35/day

I don't think Essque Zalu means anything in French, it is just the name of the place. Maybe you are confusing with Es-ce que ... which means "Is it that.." as the beginning of a question, in French. ie "Es-ce que tu es fatigue?" ... means literally "Is it that you are tired?". Roger.
