I’m actually doing the stocking and it’s fabulous and a miracle for me I am getting over a stroke from February 22 a relatively simple procedure in the hospital that went disastrously wrong medically wrong no-fault here or there but here I am and recovering with knitting with both hands etc. etc.

Love the door info. I am making this sock for my grandson. I will be visiting him at Thanksgiving and will keep up while I am there The November date is great because he can see me working on it and have it hang up when I am done. For years to come he will have this memory. THANKS SO MUCH.

I am working on the stocking, doing two lots, red / white & Green and also Blue / White and Silver. Enjoying the stranded colour work. So far the tension has remained even as I am using Arne’s technique of picking one colour and throwing the other. Thanks Gents for another successful knitting tip.

Love the grid pattern in the stocking and I really loved the story about doing good for someone in panic who needs some energy to keep going in their car, battery charge (or in my case, gasoline). I’m pretty sure you’ve created 10 lovely knitting books. This year’s Xmas sock/stocking is wonderful. I am knitting two, and managing to keep up 😃 One is in the traditional colours. That's funny and so true. I have a feeling we've all had that same sense of something seeming much larger when we were children compared to now as grown-ups.
