im pretty sure the creator of this video and well as fans who also thought the episode would release in january thought that the episodes would be worked on with more of an overlap. many people dont know that episodes 3 and 4 were done in the same batch, let alone that the episode animations are even done in batches. its very unlikely that people assumed that after the release of episode 3 they just started making episode 4 from scratch. in fact, im pretty sure a lot of people assumed that episode 5 was already pretty far in production by the release of episode 4 or even episode 3, and there could be a bunch of animators and writers working on different scenes and aspects for different episodes simotaniously.

I think by the earliest we'll get the next episode in March (or at the very least a release date trailer). Animation takes time but before Digital Circus started, Murder Drones was releasing episodes every couple months and since the DC pilot aired, Glitch has been making a lot of money so I'm confident we'll see something in early 2025. But if I'm wrong, feel free to smite me in the replies 😅

That is originally what i thought too, but Episode 5 hadst even started animation yet, and if it has started it'll only have begun a couple of days ago. Episode 4 came out so quickly after episode 3 because they were animated together. I think a more likely guess now would be March 14th/March 21st. But we won't know for sure until the trailer is released or Netflix leaks the date again

I'm really unsure of all those dates. On the one hand, they're gaining more and more experience, they have time (because Murder Drones's finished) and Netflix has showed us the truth before. On the other hand, if it's true that they're animating the episodes in pairs now, for episode 5, it could take much longer then expected. Also, less then one month (according to Netflix), is very unlikely. In my opinion, I have kind of feeling that episode 5 will release in March. Sooner then the other ones, but later then Netflix says.

Well if episodes 3&4 were being worked on together, I suspect that by the time episode 3 was finished that early 3D began on episode 5. It makes sense to have two teams working on the episodes, with core members doing the pre-production and early animating before the rest of the animators from the other team hop on to speed up production and the other team's core members begin work on the next episode.

But I have a theory about Ragatha. What if she is really serious were she goes crazy like Gangle in episode 4. Another theory is that what if Gangle does not come on this adventure because of what happened in episode 4 when Jax hit Gangles mask with the ball. My last theory is what if Ragatha crashes out and goes really insane about Jax maybe. 1 more thing about Ragatha, what if she punishes Jax of what he did back in episode 4 and Jax will be put into a type of jail with the audience and gets released after the episode.
