I remember Alfie dying during this fantastic time and was so sad for you. Losing a pet is terribly painful. I think he gave you his strengh to pursue your journey.

Hello Rebecca, I have been following you since you first opened your channel. I am so grateful to witness someone achieving something so beyond any scale. Incredible, beyond words. I also wanted to say I am really sorry Alfie died but I felt very strongly that his soul protected you up in the mountain. Maybe he chose just the right moment to go so that his soul could accompany you through the danger of Everest so that you be back safely. All the best, much love.

Alphie was in some of the earliest workout videos of yours that I did, and he was always so cute and some of your interactions were pure slapstick, when he didn't want to stay put and just started wandering off... He was such a character. I literally cried with you there when you got the news (although I already knew, of course). So much love to you ❤

Another very emotional episode. Don't beat yourself up over Alphie and not being there. I've mentioned before of my boyfriend dying of liver cancer 2 years ago after an extremely brief illness and although I saw him in his hospital room the day he died, he literally passed within a half hour after I left. I beat myself up for a long time for not being there for him but they often say that people will wait until their loved ones aren't around to spare them the pain of seeing them take their last breath. I imagine it can be that way with such beloved pets as well. He was suffering for a long time and he put on a brave face for you before you left....and then he quietly passed when you didn't have to be there to witness that. It was an act of mercy...for you. He was such a good little guy and I'm sure he cheered you on from above in those clouds as you summitted that mountain. 🌹❤

I'm so sorry for your loss. It sounds like you experienced so much pain, and it's commendable of you to take it on and not be angry at the universe for it. Grief can be a long and hard road to walk, but I hope that you find light and peace in the journey.💗
@cymbelinebritain6799 Жыл бұрын
@@Rebeccalouisefitness Thank you Rebecca. He was a wonderful, loving, selfless man who walked into a ready made family and took on the responsibility of a spouse and "dad" without hesitation. He gave so much of himself for others and was our rock. Of course the grief becomes a part of you and is not always linear in its stages. I will flip-flop from one to another, but overall I am grateful for the time we had with him (14 years) and will cherish those memories forever....as I'm sure you do with Alphie. The universe is definitely there to teach, not punish! Much love to you💖🌻🌹🌺
