Easy grab looked great thanks for sharing. Like your new build excited to see some of your other videos. Do you not split your hives just wait on them to swarm then relocate them?

Thanks for the comments. I've done a couple of walk away splits but only if I can find the Queen. Small time bee keeper 5 hives, so I give other swarms I catch to beginning and other beekeepers.

Here in the Florida sun those bees would have been baked in that black box before they could be saved.

Fortunately it’s a little cooler in Southern Illinois. It is a concern so I cut 4 21/2 inch holes with screens for cross ventilation and I keep them in the shade till installing in hive.
