This is great, really makes me think. Don’t quit!!! A lot of times, our child hood haunts us as adults.

Most couples feel this way and most men geel this way, youre not the only husband that feels this. And like my husband says its life, husband's and wife's do worry and put ALoT on ourselves that we uave no control of feeling.

I think you are amazing and my husband is that way as well. It made me want to cry because it was soon real!!

Steve: "First of all. I need to be better..." and Renae's facial expression. This will be my go to episode when I'm feeling not validated. I'm gonna pick some cherries at 00:30 and 8 minute mark 😂. Such a beautiful thing when a person says it and genuinely means it, AND works on it. I had the same sentiments as the commentors, and like Renae, I didn't want to hammer you over the head. I'll say this Steve, your comic content is what brought me here. It would piss me off for a second at first, then as I reflected, there was some truth in your "stretch" version of how we females do things, but gave me insight on how much it affects you guys; and I had to evaluate some of my own behavior, which has helped me become more self aware, and I believe become a better person relational wise (or at least be at peace with myself). I value when people can reflect on their feelings and be self aware of how their actions affect others. It's a balancing act though, because you can't and shouldn't try to make everyone happy. This episode I am team Teviño Family. btw, what a lovely dress, Renae.

Thank you for reading out the comment. I appreciate your expertise as a couple to make it work. So in conclusion, I need to be a bit like your lovely wife, talk it out first, then come to a compromise then everyone knows what they are getting out of an experience. Thank you again for voicing it. Love to you both. You guys a power couple that many people can look up too. One of them being me. ❤

Great podcast. The football teams will put a logo on anything and up sell the heck out of it. I am a vendor for the panthers in Charlotte. They do this to their merch all the time! It is just a gimmick. Agree 100 percent with the first half of the podcast!

Steve, please get your vitamin D checked and other vitamin deficiencies because they sometimes cause severe anxiety. Which may be leading you to have anxious thoughts such as you spoke about. Also, self care sometimes is talking to a counselor to unload the weeks stress and concerns. I wish you and renae beautiful blessings.

So much to unpack here. First, anybody that criticizes the Treviños for having an honest conversation does not understand marriage. Is it always wine and roses? Hell No! Next to our jobs, family annoys us the most because they have seen beneath the facade and experience our vulnerability. Second, Steve had gripes; he also had gripes about the cruise episode. Did anybody get on his case then? Third, he mentioned for the money paid, he expected a different experience. But trying it once was definitely something to share with Renae. No regrets, but the price tag was a shock. Just because we experience “nice” things in life does not mean it’s perfect and we have no critiques. Anyway, the podcast is real life. There is no fantasy or fiction.

Is there a video record of Steve's comedy BEFORE he hooked up with Captain Evil?
@lilongge13042 ай бұрын
@@Shortandresourceful I believe there is. His comedy then was more "single guy".

I'LL BACK YOU UP EVERYDAY STEVE, so here we go. Once again chiflada manipulator. Just like Renea used to ask you to spend QUALITY time with the family before, you were asking her to bring the QUALITY time you spent in Napa to your wonderful home you've both worked for. Renea, Steve was not trying to discredit the trip (except that bulljive micro size, sales dinner) and instead was trying to get you to realize that you can spend those moments at home, so they may be more frequent and inexpensive. I personally understand it's hard to have fun where you work but make environments on your property to do so similar to how Steve has that patio area, join him or do something for yourself there. P. S. Stop saying BUT and say AND.
