First time I heard Heidi speak at a New Wine conference and she spent the first 15 minutes on her knees wailing and praying and I was mesmerised. I felt like I had a glimpse of what true worship was and I was so challenged to go after that for myself. Quite a few people got up and walked out though, but that evening my pursuit of God went to a whole different level, I’ll never forget that.

@@Progamerjay100 So true, it should be. If believers fear anything then they don't have full faith in God/Jesus to move them through a situation. Its the reason "Fear not" is mentioned in the Bible 333 times. 333 Being God's Holy number. God doesn't want us to fear anything.

I am so glad that she talked about people placing too high a value on the prophetic. That drives me crazy... Jesus is the answer not the prophetic. There is nothing wrong with the prophetic but I can't stand to see people make an idol out of it.

Every era has its problems, "all have fallen short of His glory, each turn to their own separate ways" the saving grace is when we recognize what that falling short is, and its vast with many layers, that only then we truly seek out Jesus for who He is, the way, the truth, the life, deliverer, restorer, mediator, revelation, these are just somethings Jesus is, then there's all the titles the Father gave Him that is vast, and the only way to the Father of us all. I came to a point in my life to stop looking at others for that "not falling short of Gods glory" and pursue God for whatever it is where I am falling short. So that we/I may rather than falling short of being a light to others, a vessel of honour, revealing God with us, the kingdom of God within that we are a humble people, obedient, showing love to each other because we know God for God is love, meaning if God was here in flesh that's what God would be doing (the body of Christ). James faced in his day of that falling short, each living out their own separate ways, faith but no works, works but no faith, when you read through James its many layers of that "falling short of Gods glory" bitter and sweet water flowing from the same fountain. But James could say I will show you my faith through works, that is I believe scripture, I believe in God, I believe in the Son the savior of us all, but I will also show you that I am not just a teacher, a believer but one who lives it. Idolatry is just one of many sins of that "falling short" If you can turn it around to stop looking at others because we all fall short, have weaknesses, following the ways of the world, its ingrained, that becoming a christian is not a "I am now not falling short of Gods glory from this day forth because of Jesus" if that was the case then James was just a grump and had no reason to reason with christians of his time to point out their errors wrong ways, wrong truth, wrong life which were leading others in error. Just my morning thoughts over a good coffee :)

Hey Stef, I hope you see this. We need more of this, we need to hear you more, not because of you necessarily but because of what you carry and of what God has done and is doing in your life. I live in Europe, we don't have this here and churches are in general not giving room for the Holy Spirit to move. Us, the desperately hungry ones want more. We go after Jesus but we are ridiculous to most other christians we know. It so blesses us to hear you! Please remember the hungry ones in Europe. Much love

It's been a few days that it's been in my heart that I realized that so many times that worship is about US and not about glorifying GOD. Worship is not about us at all, it's all about praising God. Scrolling through youtube I found this podcast, and I'm not at all a podcast person but I listened to this whole podcast, and when Steffany talked about worship and she said that worship has become too much about us rather than God, I knew exactly that God led me to this podcast to say the He agrees with me lol. We gotta learn how to disappear in His presence only then He reveals Himself to us. It's ALL about Him!!!
