It’s so interesting to hear your views on French culture. I am French but I moved to London over 10 years ago, and I have the complete opposite culture shocks living in the UK.

We were so used to living a busy life in the U.K….coming here to a more laid back lifestyle is great, we love it. Just took a bit of getting used to. As it must have been for you moving to busy London.

Yes for sure, especially as I’m originally from a small village in northern France. Moving to London was a real shock. I do miss having a two hour lunch though :)

I have always believed that when in Rome do as the Romans do. How can anyone move to a different country and NOT learn the language ? That's nuts and I think it is insulting to the people of that country. Well that's just my opinion. Very informative video. Be well, be safe. : )

The pace of life is soo very different to England a lot slower ,and getting use to the shops opening times lol. Its nice if you can speak abit of French even though it might not be very fluent to start with. The more you mingle the better it gets. Loved watching

Girls, I am an American and have been here for the last two months. I am in love with the idea of the two hour lunches and the three hour dinners, but its hard to deal with when you weren't brought up this way. They dont know any different. I have to plan out my entire day around food. And lets not forgot their holidays.

Etrange humour britannique...
