Episode 6 - Continuous Cover Forestry (CCF)

In this episode, we are in county Westmeath to meet Olive Leavy who is actively managing her mixed high forest under continuous cover forestry. Olive is passionate about her forest and is heavily involved in producer groups.

Good video. It’s so important to appreciate how many other aspects there are to forestry besides timber production. However, this needs to be promoted more and financially rewarding for the forest owners. Carbon, nature, water and social activities will all benefit society. Joe Brennan.
