Actually they are right. The reimbursement will be worked out as per policy dated 14.07.2020. Your hospital charged you more violating the Govt. policy. The same case happened in our office. We wrote to the hospital to ammend the bill as per govt. rates and return the overcharged amount to the patient. The hospital did as directed as a copy of the letter was forwarded to DGHS, Hr. Ask your office to write a letter to concerned hospital.

Yes, in such case, where medical reimbursement bill is submitted by employee after 12 months of medical treatment, the case is sent by the department to AD for approval and after approval of AD the medical bill in question will be reimbursed as per medical policy-2005
