I've gotten those "blobs" as well when taking an old project apart and reclaiming the yarn. That was a rather large "spoiler alert" I wasn't expecting. We're human, things happen. I suppose it's a good way to entice viewers to start the sock if they were on the fence about it :) Usually I knit and just listen...I should have stuck to that lol. You'll have to show a picture of your bureau or secretary desk or whatever it is when you're finished. Sounds really nice. 10 books were published by you gents.

Thank you for telling us about Snow Seal house. I am a member of the National Trust and I shall visit the house next year . My daughter lives not to far from Gloucestershire so we can go together. It's now afternoon tea time here in Australia. But the knitalong episodes arrive here at 4am. It's a busy time at our place, so for 12 hours I've tried unsuccessfully to finish the six rows. I was feverishly knitting just now, while sipping tea. My husband asked what the hurry was. I said "I have to finish this bit by 4am!" 10 books published! Yay! I also am reusing yarn from a previously unfinished project, thankfully I past the curly part. Thank you for doing this KAL! I also have this funny dresser (bureau) that I got from my Grandma more than 20 years ago. It's more like a dresser where you put your clothes, but it has a hole in the top with another piece that sits on top with small drawers in it. I looks like the top piece should have been attached but it's not. I have no idea why it is that way. I may end up using it for a tv stand, I haven't decided.

Hi Arne, Hi Carlos, you can make your reused yarn less curly ..... just use your steamer or the steam from your iron. Wind your your yarn into hanks, (like when you use your hands or arms when winding your yarn into balls). Once your yarn is wrapped into long loops, use scrap yarn to hold the loops together so the loose loops don't make a tangled mess! Hang Your hank on a hook, add a small weight on the bottom of the hank to stretch it. Then use your steam iron to steam the hank, watch the kinks or curls disappear!
