One thing that could be interesting if you do it is getting all yoir chars to lvl 40 and seeing how they grow. I did that in my randomizer and i ended up changing half my party from what it was from most of the game

Are you sure you needed a 4th item for your random gold bar recipe? In the basic version I thought you could make gold bars with 2 of the spell attack items. Its been a while, but maybe if you put the three in and then hit the back button it would give the option to complete the dish. I could be wrong, its definitely been a while.
