Regarding poisonous Hemlock please note there are typically red streaks on the hollow stems & touching the plant & then your mouth can be enough toxin to do harm. Peopke have died using hemllock stems as straws or mistakibg the plant as wild carrot. Everyone of those children are an artwork from above-precious indeed. Enjoy all these videos & the heart of Titus after our Lord's heart. Praying always for you each & for the health of the new lady in his life. Great plant tour & so good to teach. We had two devil walking sticks growing wild on our old property. The flowers smelled so good and the bees were busy pollinating them. Speaking of the toxicity of the berries, someone on one of the plant identification groups had this to say several years ago: "I once saw some friends harvest a bunch of the berries, thinking they were elderberries, and eat handfuls of them before I and others told them they weren't elderberries. They had no issues. So, there's that."
@protruth100 Жыл бұрын
Darryl Patton, The Southern Herbalist, says that the tender shoots are edible. They can be chopped up and cooked like a potherb.
@protruth100 Жыл бұрын
Also, Tommy Bass used to use the berries to make jelly. It's the seeds that are toxic.
@protruth100 Жыл бұрын
Back in March of this year, someone from a facebook group I'm in had harvested dozens of shoots and said they are delicious and she turns them into a Korean dish. She said the Koreans eat it a lot (Aralia).

It is always nice to see Titus and the kids - he got so much patience but also the girls are so well behaved and the little Jeremiah very sweet and funny - but lovingly I would add that the oldest boy in the video may need some correction on not to speak over when others are talking. Just an observation. I understand that kids get so excited nothing wrong with that but if we think about it True Love corrects and I hope as he grows he imitates that humbleness of Titus.

TOTALLY AGREE! We said this in the beginning. He will Soon be " Telling/Ruling" Titus. His Mother(Katherine...Titus's Girlfriend) is more concerned with "Dressing him like Titus, for attention" , and her Not being seen with Titus On Camera, than with helping teach Her Son, Lazarus to Stop trying to be the "Mr. Smarty pants and share with the others! At the end of the Video you saw her walking toward the house, but when she saw the Camera, she walked the other way with the dog(Sampson) behind her...ugh! We hope Titus Finds Him A "HELP" MATE....He really looks Worn Out, Lost Weight, Not Well and Sad....in this Video. Jeremiah just Makes All Videos So Much Brighter and Better....We Love watching this Amazing exploring young boy. Can only imagine how proud his parents are.
