I'm certain that in the TTM world, 1/0's are much rarer than 0/2's😁. Great video Drew. I love the sweet looking 56's you showed and stories you shared. I have a few Henderson's myself, non graded though. Have a good day.

Henderson's RC is one of the last great RCs before they started over producing cards. Given that he does not share the card with anyone else, makes it even more special. 1956 is a great design. Thanks for stopping by.

Miss those old school Tampa Bay Uni’s and colors. Sharp Roy McMillan! Back in his playing days he was known as “Mr. Shortstop”. He owned a pizza restaurant in Cincy and was unceremoniously traded just before the 1961 season to Milwaukee if memory serves for Joey Jay. Love the look of the Tom Hurd. Thanks for sharing.

I'm sorry that Mike didn't respond to your letter, but it was really nice of him to send you a card. Your first TTM is a 1/0. Can't get any better than that! Bonham, TX? Talk about a tiny town. It's a tiny town now. I can't imagine how little it was back in 1956. I had an Al Dark auto for a while (Geaux Tigers), but think I may have gifted ro sold it. Wish I still had that one. Enjoyed the spotlights today.

Hey Drew! The 56 set is really something and I love it. Nice example of Roy McMillan! He was the very first Reds player to be featured alone on a SI cover. Great player for my Redlegs. Hey Drew, too funny about Mike Rozier. lol. He either didn’t read it or doesn’t want to be interviewed. Crazy that McMillan was a softball player. I agree on the Dark and Rizzuto comparison. I believe Dark was a better hitter than both him and Reese. Maybe not the same class of fielder but that is tougher to measure. Vern Stephens can be thrown in there too. I still can’t believe how many Henderson cards you have. I know you had more. So awesome. Thanks for sharing the stories.

Great TTM! Yes that would be a 1 of 0 but my mathematical mind doesn't like that because anything divided by 0 is undefined. Definitely agree about Alvin Dark but he isn't alone. So many players heroically lost out on prime years due to WW2. He is a good example, maybe 1 to 2 prime seasons away from HOF status

Well, Rozier sending me a card is a bit "undefined" if you think about it. Good point on Dark. Although, HOF voters should consider those things to when deciding on who they wish to vote on.

Yes, there is a story. I have talked about it a bit before. I opened a ton of 1980 wax packs in hopes that I would get my favorite player (Henderson). That said, I opened so many packs that I figured out the sequence in which they were packaged.
