This is awesome. He’s just explained why he is one of the best players in the world.

a comeback of epic proportions.. still remember u dropping that kick against the boks to seal the match to complete the full circle, epic. It's not how we fall but how we rebuild ourselves and comeback Not many have the discipline or can refind that stimulus whether it's in rugby or daily life.. Good skillz bro, its great to have u back in national colours

Quade Cooper is proof that you can coast through an entire career based off a single season of good rugby. He's a liability, he's as likely to implode as he is to successfully run the backline...completely overrated player, his ''experience'' consists of an entire career of being bullied by opposition teams...what has he achieved other than a single reds title and a shortened tri nations tournament win 12 years ago? Cooper is so much of a liability that Brad thorn had to pay him NOT to play for the reds. He shy's away from defensive work, has a high error rate, general kicking is average, he hasn't been in Australia developing key combinations with other players, he's queue cutting. Every single failure of a coach has tried him and every single coach has failed with him...Deans, Mckenzie, Chieka, Rennie etc. He had a good game against the boks, and there's some indication he's more patient and measured than he used to be...and I think he's as good as Debriczini and Hodge at #10 ...but Carter Gordon is the #1 fly half in Australian rugby by some margin.

Haters gonna hate. Whether he ends up being the wallas 10 for the WC or not - he's got nothing to prove to you or anyone else. You might want to listen to what your boy CG says about him.

@@muzwell Not a hater, Reds fan actually. Just grounded in reality, that Quade is a complete liability. Past coaches have been feeding game experience/ caps to sub standard players. Quade can run an exhibition team well, or a club team well...but the moment large backrowers are charging at him he panics and makes errors. He was so horrendously bad defending the fly half channel Robbie Deans had him constantly running and swapping places with Digby Ioane, so Ioane would defend up front. He was poor last year when he went down injured and he will be poor again. Kicked the ball out on the full to start the wallabies 2011 semi final, constantly had the highest turnover rates in super rugby when he played and was inferior to even Bryce hegarty for run meters, kick meters, assists 🤷 Keep doing the same thing and expecting different results though, i'm sure the 10th times the charm

@@Waywind420 "He was poor last year when he went down injured" You mean the few minutes he played against the pumas before getting injured? Like this run? kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2GqfXZ5brNomM0

@@muzwell Thats a very nice run, Quade sure is impressive ....in the highlight reels. Too bad they were losing this game during that linebreak Gordon is Australias best 10 and I'd rather see Debriczini, Hodge or Lolesio run out at 10. Hodge because he's solo ran a backline to victory over the All Blacks from 10 before and Lolesio/ Debriczini because of their established connections with Lonergan/ White If we play guys like Hanigan, Cooper, Foley, Wright, Petaia, Arnold and Hooper we're just going to be repeating the same old mistakes. These guys don't have the composure needed for high pressure rugby.

@@Waywind420 we can agree on Gordon. I'm very keen to see him get a run this year - and if he goes well - sure I'd be happy to see him be our primary. I think Quade is the perfect mentor for him.
