There is a great negligence! Those barriers don't protect the drivers from the wall, they protect the wall from the drivers!!! There are iron pipes half a centimeter thick inside the tires, which cause a harder impact instead of absorbing the impact. Normally when Toprak hit, it should have been buried inside the barrier, but it was thrown onto the track like a ricocheting bullet.

I'm surprised that no-one is asking how Toprak is doing,. World Sbk is also doing an awful job on gathering news to share with it's viewers on him. The guy is clearly a rare talent, who has brought true grit and excitement to the poorer cousin of MotoGP, and made it better to watch than MotoGP. Yet... Nothing, despite this incident potentially ending his life. For those who do want to know: He's doing well. The air pocket in his chest cavity has gone, and has commenced some tests on his physical strength and ability to ride as hard as possible. Tests are still in progress. There's a strong possibility that he will be at Cremona at this point, but not a certainty.

@themdivision8079 look at the bright side, they are still in the series. Suzuki fans don't even have a horse in the race. The Kawasaki have looked much stronger than the Yamaha or Honda as well. Alex has looked brilliant at times this year. There's still hope for a few good results.
