Thanks Sophie! (spoiler: I changed my mind on the socks, so that pattern is on hold for now). Definitely try that pattern! I use a Turkish Cast On, which I think is different from the pattern (I find it easier). Happy knitting and Happy New Year!

Lovely podcast again. I love the sweater you are wearing, Nice neckline. Did you ever trie the freshness socks from Zanete Knits? They are toe up and the gusset is under feet. I have a high instep etc. and they fit me very good. Also very handy if you use a coloured pattern.
