Thank you both. I think I have to go back again to the metaphor of the mirror or the messenger just showing you your state of mind. I guess it is the same as ”as within, so without”. But sometimes you need other words to make it ring true to you 😊❤

After many years of study and practice, starting in 1969, of Advaita Vedanta, Kashmir Shaivism, Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism and can say with some experience, that ACIM is not only the fruition of those dosciplines but it is the Absolute culmination and advancement of those beautiful yet limited philosophical and practice traditions. But it is true I needed those traditions as a gateway to ACIM. 🙏

Beautiful sharing- Thank You!! This brings to mind a recent conversation I was part of, during which I made the point that really, because the model of forgiveness & the relationship to God in ACIM is so radical, we get a sense of how modern this system is Like a culmination of the evolution of our understanding through the ages & as you’re saying- we needed those traditions as a gateway I appreciate your insight Be well knowingly

I can’t tell you how wonderful that was . Carol was my first contact with ACIM and for my first year with the workbook I listened to her podcast , took notes and slowly made sense of the course language. Carol is so accommodating, two hours is along time to spend with us all . I found also it came at a good time as I have now cut contact with my daughter as the situation became so toxic , letting her go with love and remembering her true self is still there under all the addiction and dangerous choices she continues to make I loved her chat about Ken , Helen Bob and Judy . Judy was also someone I listened too during my early course days and still go back to her talks on miracle voices . I always felt a bit alone when I studied alone , I now feel so connected to all of these amazing teachers . Well done for asking Carol to talk with you and as you said you will listen over and over and I can see this being saved as a favourite. Sending love Fiona ❤x

I hesitated to write cause I don’t want to be heavy but I really enjoyed her book about Bill that I finished a few days ago (I also read Absence from Felicity during the pandemic) and I do appreciate that Helen was just normal and I relate to her a lot now. She was completely heartbroken and sadly, I'm in the same situation, I found my "Bill" she was also my boss and she didn’t love me back either and I'm absolutely crushed. It’s insanely hard and it’s been six years and it’s crazy that Helen’s little willingness to find peace (helped by Bill) gave us ACIM, which really helped me to forgive my hell, thank God. After 12 years of being a student, now I feel the human behind the book, that reached that part of her mind that’s pure and it inspires me to do the same more than ever 🙏🏻

Well how wonderful that you didn’t allow the hesitation to stop you from sharing this brave & inspiring message Being honest is incredibly powerful As with all the principles ACIM teaches us to understand, we apply them internally & externally. This then shows us there is no world (L132) when we adopt ‘forgiveness’ this shows us that minds are joined (L336) Thank You for the work You are doing to remove the interference to the awareness of Love’s eternal presence ✨☀️✨

I have explored a lot on Buddhist teachings with Vipassana meditation and various Psycho therapies with Traumatology. A Course In Miracles is a mind-blowing Psycho-Spiritual therapy. ACIM's teachings on the forgiveness as the spiritual path is so unique in its practical applications.
@ACIM_Ай бұрын
@@Shiju.Varghese agreed. A completely fresh definition of forgiveness is necessary for what this word symbolises in course terminology. The passive inactivity of forgiveness as expressed through the lens of this material has it’s meaning in relation to the counterpoint of ‘judgement’ Only love is real. What is all encompassing can have no opposite

Great interview......and although I have been working with/playing around with forgiveness I was able to hear how 'this is not a Course to be learned, but a Course to be practiced as a way of life. I also heard more clearly how this is a relective world and what I see in you is what is going on in me.....what I believe, what I am holding onto etc. I can choose to live life by protecting my fortress and promoting my VIP self or surrender to what is happening moment by moment. So many snippets, Thank You both.
