I'm grateful to Joe for allowing the interview and for the entire crew who put it together. This really feels like closure and its great to hear Joe is living a normal seemingly happy and fulfilled life. He always struck me as a voice of reason with a dash of humor and it really came out in the interview. One thing for myself is we really didnt see hispanic/natives portrayed as ordinary people on tv in the early 90's. Even our super heros we had zorro, speedy gonzalez, Tonto for pete sake. Danny's character was a kind hearted, funny, reliable and everyday personality and something about that was encouraging to a young mind still trying to figure out the world. It may not be the case for everyone but in my experience I think that is why personally I was attached to the idea of the show and search for Joe. So in that sense as I am now a family man with a career and business owner I can finally say thank you Joe for helping to open up doors (even if they were in our minds) that you never even knew. Great work to all involved! God bless and enjoy the sunset!

It was so great to finally hear from him. I loved the Happy Days jokes. He's very funny. I loved Hey Dude. Danny and Melody were my favorite characters.

I was 10 when this show premiered and i loved it. Still do! Im so happy Joe Torres was found and hes alive and well. I think Dannys last name was said in the episode with Jakes lucky penny he was going on the game show.

I was wondering what happened to him 6 months ago, and I researched again today and couldn't believe you guys found him! He sounds really down to earth and very personable. I'm glad he's doing well.

Watching Hey Dude is one of only very few pleasant or positive memories from my otherwise mostly cold, dark, and violent childhood (now 43yo). The show means a lot to me. I rewatched the whole series last year.❤🤠🏜️
