Man, I’m ready for the RPG of this series to come out already! This is like a combination of Call of Cthulhu and Werewolf the Forsaken. Like, you could play this setting using Chronicles of Darkness rules and pulling spirits from the Werewolf the Forsaken venue. Or you could pay this using Call of Cthulhu rules. I’m a little surprised that this is getting its own game using Cypher System rules.

You’re thinking from a game first perspective, it seems like. The game will be inspired by the world we created for this show. The show wasn’t inspired by a game. You’re only on Episode 9. There’s a lot more to it than season one.

@@OldGodsofAppalachia indeed it seems that us rabid RPG fans have indeed put the cart before the horse, so to speak. The manner in which these tales are woven speak to my soul and remind me of my great grandmother weaving yarns from her WV roots. When asked what these reminded me of all I could come up with was this “think Miskatonic University but with down to earth rural folks” I’ve burned though the first season in record time and look forward to finishing. The only problem is waiting for more episodes after I catchup at break neck speed.
