Zen is still very strong, and no it is not a defensive deck. I'll give everyone a lil freebie, you still have 7 anthem effects if you play Zen with the cards they made for him. When Ira drops that will be your defensive ninja deck, but I think she will still be best as like a tempo-midrange deck.
