Hi! I was wondering how could you make a tappable overlay while it's constantly in the scenes? Like a certain menu button which the reader can tape on it whenever they want... The same as in the Demi Lovato's story with the closet tappable overlay (that is constantly on the scenes)

You need to use an & (ampersand) for this for ex. @overlay Name moves to 0.00 0 0 anchor point loop INFINITE times (I dunno what the code is for code watch Joseph Evan's tutorial video "Animating Overlays"

how can you make one char behind an overlay and another character just walk past the overlay without him going behind the overla? does that make sense?

Yoshabxl You have to put them in different layer for example @CHARACTER moves to layer 3 @overlay OVERLAY NAME moves to layer 2 In this case the overlay is behind the character and the character is in front of the overlay like this @CARTER moves to layer 3 @overlay CHAIR moves to layer 2

@@kaatc2 I wrote the background name and next to it wrote: with overlay_name Then, in the next line I wrote: @overlay [name] scales to [add the size here] @overlay [name] opacity 1 @overlay [name] shifts to [position] @overlay [name] moves to layer [layer number] Now, for a new overlay you write: @overlay [name] create @overlay [name] scales to [add the size here] @overlay [name] opacity 1 @overlay [name] shifts to [position] @overlay [name] moves to layer [layer number] And that's all :)

Hi if you’re still answering comments, for the car interior overlay, how do you get characters to sit in the car? When I place my characters, they are placed outside of the overlay for some reason and not inside of the car.

It's all about layering. Put your characters on layer 0 for ex and the overlay to layer 1

Open props in the writer's portal. It's in your script when you write a story and save them. They are already in .png format. Then you need to upload them in the art gallery.
