you should really learn to do a staple coil 0.5 × 5-8 pieces of ribbon wire stacked vertically clapton with 36-40 gauge nichrome wire you'll love that one or a fused Clapton 26x2 nichrome core wires, Clapton with 36 gauge nichrome wire. Those two builds produce the best flavor and clouds out of any coil that I've tried so far but if your looking for just a straight solid flavor build then a staple staggered fused Clapton is the way to go. I've never had a coil that produced so much flavor in my life lol but you will sacrifice clouds that's a guarantee. Also if your not good at building you can order them off ebay for Like $10-15 and theirs all the exotic coils out there. that's where I used to get mine from before I learned how to build my own lol

I find this to be an easier option than the Clapton family, those are pretty technical, and my drill is in it's last leg. and I don't have a stockpile of wire in various guages. so all in all this helps me get a nice coil in my rda without a lot of complications.

Those this really give you better flavor and throat hit that a fused clapton or is this just more on the fun side? I don't that the more advanced the coil is, the better. Think it's just placebo and it's just fun to make if that makes any sense.

from my understanding a .10 ohm build is very dangerous on a "single" mechanical mod (Ohms Law) so was wondering whats up with that. Ran a .13 build on a duel mod with two 30 amp fuse along side a duel mosfet and fried it like KFC.. I've always calculated my builds by voltage ÷ build to get cranking amps for safety, just curious about results...????
@romolosanchez85008 жыл бұрын
I understand the purpose of misfits working towards the switch, but a .10 vs a fresh 18650 equals more amps then the cell can handle rms... Have i been mislead in my calculations for a safe all day vape...???
@kovalsky6668 жыл бұрын
Amp ratings on cells are based on continuous discharge. When you vape, you pulse the battery, so you can go above the limit as long as you're not chain vaping till the cell is dead. It's more on a risky side and you need to know your batteries, so it's always better to be within the limit.
@IntelligentlyStupid8 жыл бұрын
your correct but a lot of vapors go by the pulse rating, which is usually rated anywhere from 3-5 seconds so you can vape at higher amps then the continuous amp rating but you don't wanna go any lower then .10 or be taking longer pulls then 2-4 seconds that's why most people that vape .10 usually only do 1-3 second pulls but you also have to have a really good cell, that's why battery safety is so important, so you know what your battery is capable of. Cause you wouldn't wanna do that with a single 18650 that has a battery with a 10-15 amp rating cause even then the pulse would only be like 20-25 amps. You usually wanna use a 25+ amp high drain or higher cell that can put out around 38-40 amps pulse but i would recommend to never take longer pulls then 3 seconds on a .10 and don't chain vape it either and some people will argue never vape below a .18 or a .20 on a single 18650 but if you do just have a thorough knowledge of battery safety and a thorough knowledge of how long the pulse was when they rated the amps on your battery but most are usually (not always) between 3-5 seconds. Where it gets really dangerous is when people have .06-.10 and they're hitting them for 5-7 seconds chain vaping. That's when batteries tend to vent and explode. there's really no reason to ever go below .10 on a single 18650 cell no battery even with pulse rating can handle that safely. I mean a fresh 4.2 volt battery with a .10 build is 42 amps so that tells you something right there about how unsafe it is.

Can you use 26g as the core and does the core wire goes next to the braiding wire or what
@derekwaggoner75018 жыл бұрын
I think you could probably use that gauge. would help raise the resistance which would be a good thing.

Why are not everyone using twisted wires for their braids and other builds - or perhaps even "hive wires"??? Im using a twisted 36guage wire for a fishtail braid - and it works really good in my Kayfun Mini V3 (which is very limited when it comes to bigger builds)... Ive only made this once - and tried it since yesterday. Seems to produce very little "spit-back"! Using twisted wires, makes for a more springy coil, but i built and installed this without torching it, and it works great... It was a LITTLE tricky... When the coil is wrapped tightly around the drillbit, the "springyness" will want to both widen the diameter of the coil - as well as making it into a "spacd coil" ... BUT - if you restrict the "horisontal expansion" of the coil (by placing your fingernails or something on each side of the coil, keeping it from expanding into a spaced coil), it helps a lot. I did still have to adjust it some more while dry-burning the coil, but at least it worked on my first and only try... This is the only "advanced build" ive tried, other than using a regular 30guage fishtail braid... Looking forward to trying it with a hive wire, to use with my Alpine RDTA.

I know this is a bit off topic But I been Vaping on my TUGLYFE Parallel Box Mod for a long time now So I build mostly for that and I usually build pretty Low I get a Nice hot Cloudy Vape but Now when I try Building for my LIMITLESS Mech I cant seem to produce enough Vapor and of course I have tried simple builds Like 24g AN80 N80 and TM80 5 wrap 2mm-3mm i.d Ive Tried Twisted and Parallel as well some of my builds have been Ohm'ed out at 0.15-0.01 Lots of Airflow to Minimal No luck Maybe it's my Batteries - LgHb6 ??

That's the sad part It was beyond good before I started using the Tugboat I had the tugboat v2 and plume veil and also rementry rdas on it all great performance! Now, I've tried the Subzero I have the same issue with all of my single 18650 mechs Paragon, Rig, Subzero and SMPL and the best 2 was the SMPL and Limitless third was the Subzero

somethings not right if you are getting sub par performance with the rig and subzero.

@IntelligentlyStupid8 жыл бұрын
did you say a .01 wtf sorry dude but that's fucking retarded to ever build that low if you want a great build with plenty of vapor and flavor try a staple coil it's a 0.5 × 5-8 ribbon stacked vertically, Clapton with a 36-38 gauge nichrome 80 wire on a 2.4- 2.5 mm bit 5 wrap and ohms out around .10-.12 best flavor and clouds I've ever had. Or try a fused Clapton 26×2 core nichrome 80 Clapton with a 36 gauge nichrome 80 on a 2.5 mm bit 6 wrap and ohms out around .14-.16 and that produces more vapor but loses just a little bit of flavor but either way those two builds are probably the best for flavor and cloud production.
