I lost my fiancé a month ago. This was the first song I listened to after his passing. Music was so important and freeing to him. There was rarely a time when we weren’t listening to music or had it playing in the background. I couldn’t listen to anything for almost 2 1/2 weeks as everything reminded me of him in some way. I introduced him to Architects shortly after we started dating. I knew if I could get through this song, I’d be able to enjoy music again the way I did when he was alive. It’s a work in progress. I miss him everyday.❤️

My mother left us 2 months ago. This song has been on repeat ever since. This works both as a therapy and a reminder that she's still with me somewhere or the other. This song also highlights how vulnerable and helpless people are when someone close to them is leaving them in front of their eyes and they can do nothing to make them stay. You can take that quote and also argue that it is correct. Often in times of agony or anger you get choked up and the only thing you can produce is a scream, like in the movies when someone tragically loses a loved one. Sometimes you can't sing. I discovered this song the same day I found out my step mom died this past christmas eve.
