I had a girlfriend show me this song a few years ago. After getting to know her awhile, this song had meaning. For everyone who plays this, hopefully your life stays on a good path.

Been a fan since going home from a kegger in '98 after making out with a ska8er girl watching some cable access music channel and saw videos for Power of Moonlight and Cupid's Victim remembering she was chatting me up about this band Tiger Army because I was wearing a AFI shirt. Now 20+ years later I'm still a fan with a Tiger Bat on my firearm....NEVER DIE!

Regret sits heavy in your chest Until sometimes it gets so hard to breathe Sometimes it just won't go away And you start to feel it'll never leave And when you think back on those times It seems so close, just beyond your reach But the past vanishes like smoke From a cigarette in the night breeze Please stop this pain Hurt for so long Pain Hurt for so long I've felt this way for so long How is it that things turned out this way? What you hold most dear has come and gone Since the time that everything was right And now it just feels wrong, oh so wrong And you're still dreaming of the time When the day will come, it was meant to be And you're still dreaming of a way To reach that place that you've never been Please stop this pain Hurt for so long Pain Hurt for so long I've felt this way for so long Pain Hurt for so long Pain Hurt for so long Pain Hurt for so long Pain Hurt for so long I've felt this way for so long

You have my deepest sympathy for your loss. The depression has been absolutely crippling lately, and I haven't experienced anything like that. It may sound corny, but stay strong. The world is better with you in it.

I love that AFI and Tiger Army are like best mates. Nothing cooler than a Horror Punk band and a Psychobilly band being mates🦇

Goddamn if this song hasn't been my anthem for years. It's such a pretty song but the message is something I heavily relate to. I like to think of it as kinda how you still have good times and see the beauty in life in bits and pieces even though you're going through hard shit, just hopeful one day things will change, but you're not convinced they ever will

This band evolved from just another generic street punk band to one of the most influential bands in the genera. N ill they did dif was let their bassist start doing vocals. Haha if yer not familar. Mike "virus" was their original vocalist. Hes does most of the vocals on this album. But apparently he had a really good job in corperate America (yea i know right?) But anyway. His company moved from philly where the bands from. To san diego cali. Where he started the band cheap sex n picked up right where he left off wit the virus writing the most basic of lyrics wit his... unique? voice. I actually used to hate his voice. But ive grown to appreciate it now. But his trash lyrics n ALWAYS having the start the song by saying the title of the track is why i feel like they developed n grew into one of the best streey bands of all time literally ovr night. See after mike left. They had paul. Who was playing bass on this album. Become their front man.🤯 so they got a new bassist n let him pick up the mic. (Funny note: ifu look at their "singles n rarities" they show whos all played in the band n its kind of a joke how many bassists theyve had. Even funnier cuz they # them. Like bassist #11) anywayyyyy. So pauls debute as lead vocals was on the next album after this "no where to hide" n at the time the band A GLOBAL THREAT did something similar. Their first two records had two vocalists. Mark unseen and bryan (threat?) On their 3rd album (here we are) mark left the band n bryan was left to doing vocals alone. N sadly. It was not good. The whole style was diff it wasnt as fast. Alot of punx hated it. Still probably their worst record. Butt they did find a way to fix this. Bryan started to really focus on the lyrics. Gone were the days of "they lie we die" lyrics. He started to focus more on the human experience kind of like what caustic christ was writing abt but even more in depth. Well wouldnt u know. A global threat were really good friends wit the dudes in clit 45 and yup. The virus. So the next released from both those bands also had great lyrics. Alot deeper n in depth than what all the other bands were doing. Even the casualties tried to follow this formular but i just think jeorge like mike virus just wernt as talented. But back to the subject paul changed the virus not only by the sound of this voice witch sounded alot tougher but his lyrics like i just talked abt. Were so much more.... evolved. But anyway. I feel like thjs made way fkr the greatest erra in punk rock. Maybe it doesnt get the credit it deserves. Maybe because it was only like.... godamn 2005 was like 20years ago. I KNOW RIGHT! Maybe im just being biased cuz i grew up n wqs playjng in bands during thos erra. N im not saying its better than 19seventy sev! Or uk82. But i donthink it deserves to be documented more. Seems like any tome u hear abt the history of punk its likr ramones n black flag startrd then punk died until green day n nirvana revived it for all the posers to start saying "im kinda punk. A little punky" omg this bitch just said punky. Well anyway then mext chapter is this. In the early 2000s. N the part i just talked abt was a very important chapter in the evolution of punk thats still evolving today. I mean fuck. Is Fat mike the only dude wanting to preserve the history of punk? Im not sure but nkw that my thumbs hurt i just relized how long this comment is. Idont even rememeber what i was talking abt when i started this comment. Oh well. Im sure if i wrote it will be dope as hell so im not trippin. Lets see..... *post*
