Hangfire is usually dangerous because if it goes on for too long the user may believe the gun jammed or misfired instead and when they go to clear the jam the bullet goes off aimed in a different direction from intended In Zora’s case she may be intentionally using Hangfire to produce strange delays in the firing of her gun, either to trip up her opponents or to “stock” trigger pulls and bullets without needing to reload or pull the trigger again.

So, I have a theory that the metaphors she uses for each one has to do with their epithets. The first one she used a lot of predator/prey analogies, and at one point called him a "shaking deer", I think his epithet is something related to deer or similar. The second one is a gang, but she uses a lot of explosive metaphors, so maybe the leader has something to do with gunpowder or other kinds of explosives? The third one is pretty obvious, a lot of things related to birds, so probably some kind of bird.

this song is so cool, but i have to say my favourite part has got to be the very first line of the chorus. simply cause the way Dawn sings the note for "Time" is just SO good, it gives me shivers. i also wanna give a mention to how each number in the countdown is accompanied by a woodblock, which i only noticed when i listed to the song without the video. verrry nice detail there that really helps them stick out

This, this! This is indescribably good. I will now go on to describe how good it is, it comes down to it's fucking epic as shit all of you every part of this did fucking amazing, the lyrics are fucking fantastic, the music has a beautiful harmony of intimidation and epicenes, the performance is so powerful and enrapturing, while I don't know much about mixing I never heard anything weird so you must have done your job well! I might just be overthinking things, but I wonder if eyes have some grander significance to Zora. I feel like there is a lot of eye imagery with her two songs that have been released. She has those triangular markings around her eyes, each of her marks only have one visible eye in this art, and one of her eyes is partially hidden, and in the most recent song she apparently looks up to ~someone~ (the identity of whom I tooooootally have noooooo idea about) that has interesting eyes. Weird connection I wanted to point out, unlike old Kaleidoscope eyes I can't say I have a super concrete theory, but it is something I am taking note of moving forward :)
