Well, most of the bad guys we’ve met have had redeeming qualities. Giovanni is a mentor and not really good at being evil, Mera has an excuse for being mean since she’s in incredible pain 24/7 and you kinda feel for her, and Indus isn’t really evil, just a big dork working for Mera. Really Molly’s dad is the only one so far who hasn’t been shown with any good qualities or good reasons to be such a piece of trash.

Saint Bigfoot | I have a theory about that... Molly's said that they only started behaving this way 2 years ago, after her mom's death. Before Unnamed Mom's death, it's implied that Popa Blyndeff was completely capable of competence. D'you think perhaps Molly is unconsciously effecting her family with her epithet, to dampen the pain of loss? Stage 1 of grief is denial, after all. This would explain why her Dad is so... dumb. He's absolutely _oblivious_ of Molly and her struggles, but it's implied he doesn't treat her sister the same way. Likewise, it's mentioned she has a similar carefree attitude to him, supposedly threatening their entire livelihood by breaking things with her epithet. And why else introduce a character who's an Epithet psychologist, and directly ally him with Molly? That's a Chekov's Gun if I've ever seen one. I bet we'll see an entire arc with those two picking apart all of this! That's my belief, anyways.

I would not be surprised if she struggles through enough to become Mera 2.0. It would be interesting, though. "You know why I fear fire the most, Sylvie? It happened when our home was on fire. Dad drove my sister and I to a toy store as a reward for our good grades. Mom was indoors, cooking up a delicious meal. I don't know what happened, but... The acting here probably wasn't great, but I tried giving a little bit of Mera to Molly.

JoJonoMuskets | Not half-bad, but certainly needs work. Luckily, I happen to be an editor and an author, so lemme try and give some critiques. Molly's tone is more... tired and matter-of-fact then this, intentionally contradicting her age and voice. You put in too many flourishes. Stuff like *"delicious* meal" or *"vividly* remembers." The prior especially doesn't work because they never got to taste the meal what with the fire and all. Still, you did a pretty good job. I was able to hear most of this in Molly's own voice. That's important. Always try reading dialogue in the specific voice of whoever's speaking, keeping in mind each voice should be immediately recognizable from tone and diction before you even specify who's talking. Keep working at it, because although I agree it wasn't "great" I'd certainly say it was good!

Things I noticed when I played the intro at x0.25 speed; The Banzai Blaster that runs into Giovanni first is Car Crash. Percy catches the amulet with perfect precision. When the amulet is shot out of Sylvie’s hands, his arms wave after it, trying to catch it. You can see Zora look smug in the frame right after he boot turns gold. Ramsey notices the barrier right before he runs into it. Mira catches the amulet with both hands. Indus gives Mira an assuring nod before they both run offscreen. The order that the characters appear in the end scene is Ramsey, Percy, Zora, Sylvester, Mira+Indus, then Giovanni. Finally, Zora is the only one who’s end-scene animation is more than three drawings. Every one else except Ramsey and Sylvie has two drawings, and those two have three. -Guy
