I have a similar tutorial but I put my hair in a high bun and use a different method. For some reason marley hair and kanekelon hair don't work for me. I can never get it to look natural enough! Yours looks great tho!

I honestly have been trying to achieve this style for the longest because its simple and low maintenance but im always unlucky because my hair is really really thick and I have tried everything under the sun from eco styler gel to gorilla snot to Cantu snot gel I even tried got2beglued and nothing lays my hair down due to the thicknes 😕😐 Do you have suggestions for any other products that might help

Yan Yan have you tried doing it like this? Using gel on individual sections to lay it flat? Just using gel on the perimeter doesn't work for me. I have to do it like this

Some people tie a scarf around their hair to keep the hair in place until the gel dries. That might help.

I think yu and I have the same hair type...except for the fact that the root of my hair is EXTREMELY wavy, but as it grows out it gets straighter...its been givinge hell to catch up in a bun like that. But I'll try ur method... thanks much.
