You mean breaking up a black box and it’s Device connection point?

@@rolandyounk6169 Yes. For example, I have a servo drive in schematics which have more than 100 connection points. I need to put it on 2 pages in order to clearly show.

@@weizhenwu7793 simple, EPLAN has the Device Concept. Mena one black box is the main function with a certain DT like BB1 and the second black box has the same DT except it is no longer Main Function. The main function will be the one carrying the parts data, will be the one that serves the DT numbering. The second or even more then 2 can be used will be simply adding their connection points to the same device. The first will reference to all other instances of the same DT, the second or more will reference to the main function only. This technic can also be sued to have the same black box represented in a single line or any overview of the system. The basics of the « Device Concept » is applied here.

Hello Mr. Younk, thanks so much for the video Customized Ribbons that you created last year. I saw your video and liked so much. This is very useful, but I think to become something still more automatic if is possible. My idea is to create a customized ribbon to insert a specific connection point that already comes with pre-defined cross section value, color value, linetype and color of the linetype all of this in just one new icon created by customized ribbon, it means, all in one. Do you understand my intention/ idea? Do you know if is this possible? If yes, could you create a video about this idea.
