Is it required to etch the concrete or grind or sand it?

Hello, That depends on the initial state of the floor. If the floor is every uneven and textured, sanding might be required, as the epoxy is onyl 1.5mm thick, it might not mask off profound unevenness.

@@epodex-uk3877 is there any reason a matte finish on top would be a bad idea? Would it collect more dirt/bacteria/moisture? What type of matte coat would you recommend to make it look kind of like natural stone
