Very detailed informative video. Getting ready to do a cedar slab table for behind a couch to accommodate a couple of bar stools with the frame / Legs being made out of black iron pipe and fittings. Frame looks great and preparing for the epoxy pour and watching your video makes me feel better about doing it. Thanks again!

That trowel is called a mils Guage. Used for checking paint thickness or other wet application material. Get it at big box stores or major paint suppliers.

Now can i use that acrylic on a stain that i stained my bar with before i pour on that expoxy just don’t wanna damage the stain obviously

Yes you can. Won’t hurt the stain at all as long as you wait about 24 hours for the stain to dry. Got any other questions keep reaching out!

I don’t have a torch to get out the bubbles, but would a heat gun work the same as a torch?

Can I use epoxy on acrylic water base paint?

Yes as long as it is dry and cured you can epoxy over top of it

Would this work to level a dining room table with decorative grooves? Or would you need to fill grooves first? They're about a 1/4" deep

As long as the grooves are less than an 1/8” wide this would work.
