Epping train arriving Melbourne Central 17JUL11 City Loop

Well there were not many people about and I figured I could get my camera out to film the train coming into Melbourne Central today. I was hoping to capture a bit of the wind noise as the train come into the station but my wind cutter cut it all out :-(

I always enjoyed waiting for trains at the underground platforms, feeling the wind before the train arrives, watching the lights appear in the distance, pretty cool

the “except flagstaff” sounds different to any other “except station” i’ve heard

why flagstaff? maybe the plant room?(which the plant room is for the elevators)

Maybe because it was the weekend so not a lot of traffic at weekends. Not 100% sure as this video was taken over 12 years ago. 😁

@@mikeycbd yeah true but i think i heard "exept flagstaff" a few times around 2024, beacuse 2024 has a lot of strange movement compared to 2023!

Oh I don't think I responded. No nothing special but I was new to Melbourne in 2011 having moved from Queensland.
