I have a 2016 Toyota Corolla Axio hybrid. When the power steering warning comes on during driving. The car shuts off. But when I turn the key off and turn it back on the car works fine with no lights or warning again. It happens like once a month. Any suggestions?

He says to unplug the ABS actuator connector, dry it out in case there's moisture, and plug it back in.

I have same car. Steering is alternatively heavy and light. Sometimes very light. Sometimes heavy. No Code or no EPS light. Changed EPS motor, steering rack, front shockers. Still sometimes light sometimes heavy. Please suggest.

What's up you guys, thanks for the video AUTO SHOP, I PUT A LINK BELOW OF SOMEBODY ELSE'S VIDEO THAT I WATCH ON KZbin. LINK IS AT THE END OF THIS COMMENT YOU CAN CLICK AND SEE WHAT HE DID, but I'm having the same problem I have a 2017 Corolla and the steering is getting hard I read the manual and it says electric power steering malfunction the power steering has electric power steering malfunction problem when I watched one video somebody had the same cars mind they changed their battery in the problem was fixed but I know it's more than just a battery because it's a power electric power steering problem and I watched another video that the guy you can read the code in his video but it's very confusing cuz he's fixing wires and you can't tell which wire he fixed it was a little confusing for my cell elf so I'll put that on here for you to see I still have to fix mine I don't know how I'm going to fix it the car dealer charges way too much money and I'm not going to pay that so I have to find a way to fix mine but here's that video of the guy that shows the code and fixes the electric power steering tell me what you guys think? Eps is the electronic power steering.. And abs antilock braking system .. so abs wheel sensor sence vehicle speed in communication eps
