1. In terms of explaining grammar not by way of long winding grammatical explanations but rather, (a) by example sentences and (b), by providing a word-for-word translation, which is essential to really understand all the nuances of what you're saying, this site is number one. That's just the way a language should be learned. Thanks. 2. While I understand that the purpose of the site is to help Korean language learners REVIEW, rather than LEARN the language, so only ONE example of each type is given, it would be the BEST way of LEARNING the language if several examples of each pattern were given. Could we hope for something like that in the future? Similar type of help is widely available for other languages (including Japanese), but for some reason, not for Korean, and I've always wondered why.

Thank you so much for this wonderful and very informative video. It will help me a lot. Can I humbly ask the softcopy of this eps grammar book 1 and 2 Sir/Ma'am? :) Like the pdf file you share about the vocabs. Thank you and God bless. :) I am one of the aspiring Filipino who will take the upcoming eps topik exam. :)

Thank you for visiting my channel and nice comments. I am currently overseas and it is difficult to create new videos😢, so uploading is not easy. I think l probably be able to create the file you want in April. I hope you pass the eps topik. Good luck!🥰
Between this video and the 112 topik 1 grammar video, are both beneficial or should I use one over the other?
@simple-korean Жыл бұрын
If your purpose of learning Korean is not to take an exam, I recommend learning 112 Grammar. It consists of very basic and essential grammars. After that, you can study higher level grammar systematically. However, if you are aiming for the EPS-TOPIK exam, I recommend that you study with this video first as you need to understand all the grammar of the textbook(standard Korean). Some of the grammar in this video is not included in the 112 grammar video.🥰

Hi , I have a question. If we learn these two videos we learn Korean?
@simple-korean3 ай бұрын
This video covers the basic grammar of Korean. If you understand this, you'll have a good grasp of the fundamentals. To learn more advanced Korean, you need to know more grammar, but since this is the foundation, it's important to master the basics. I hope you can fully grasp the content of this video. Thank you so much!🥰

Hello... Sorry but I don't have a PDF file. However, there's a publicly available textbook that you can use for your studies. The content and grammar explanations are exactly the same. The example sentences are almost identical too.😓 epstopik.hrdkorea.or.kr/epstopik/book/self/ebookIndex.do?lang=ko

Hello 😊i really like your videos and it helps me too. But 😢i have a question about the grammar, can you explain to me what's the difference between(으)세요and 주세요 and also between 습니다 and 고 있다 because they look similar. PLS😢😢😢
@simple-korean7 ай бұрын
Hello. Thank you for liking my channel.🥰 '-으세요' is used to express 'commands'. It can be explained as 'please do' in English and is attached to verbs to indicate the meaning of a command. '주세요'; 주다(give)+ (으)세요 is the meaing of 'please give". And a similar grammar structure is '-아/어 주세요,' which is a polite way of asking someone to do something for another person, expressing a 'request.' 'ㅂ/습니다' is a formal sentence ending. It's different from the informal ending '-아/어요.' '고 있다' indicates an ongoing action. It's the progressive form, expressed as 'be -ing' in English. I hope this explanation helps you understand. Thanks!!😄

hello i have question regarding rule 51 is it 여행하기 or 여행가기 because what i learned is that 기 attached to verb to change it in to noun form and 여행 or 여행가 both are already noun
@simple-korean7 ай бұрын
Hello. Sorry for late reply.😅 In this sentence, the verb is '여행가다' which is a contraction of '여행을 가다'. '여행을 가다' means the same as '여행을 하다' which means 'to travel.' It can be shortened to '여행가다.' 여행을 하다-여행하다 여행을 가다-여행가다 The noun '여행가' that you know means 'traveler'; the person who travels. I hope this helps!🥰
