Yes I have use two of them for sublimation for over two years.

That's awesome, but I still don't recommend it for that. When sublimation only requires 4 colors, the et 15000 is better in respect and also delivers the same resolution and quality, but again, to each their own ✌️

@@certCrazyperson I have had the et 15000 as well and if was good but the et - 8550 is a little more superior when using it for sublimation. Have you tried if for sublimation beside DTF? I seen in your great videos that it is hands down the best dtf machine out. I found that out using sublimation. (ET-15000) Max printing resolution: 4800 x 1200 dpi vs (ET-8550) Max printing resolution: 5760 x 1440 dpi. I have seen the difference in the prints as well.

Yeppers that is correct, and that is 240 dpi difference in print quality not to get a magnify glass to look for differences, but seriously, the real difference is the 6 colors vs 4 and even that only makes very little different in the grand scheme of things but it comes right back to the original point only the user can choose what's best for them and the amount of work required to get the color's right with the 8550 for sublimation is a little much but that's the user problem not mine I like easy and 15000 is easy colors are simple put inks print that's about it 😁

That's a total choice on how long you want to make sure your printer is functioning properly before you convert I usually it for a while because I usually have 2 on hand but if you only have one I would recommend at least a week and make sure you really test it by printing at least 3 prints a day

What size fans on your DTF printer 80 mm and are they pushing air in or pulling air out ANd are they powered by the printer or plug power source. I just got an et8550 and trying to set it up for the first time No ink in it yet try to do all mods first if you could send me some info about the fan setup would be great thanks for all your help
