Hello from Guernsey in the Channel Islands, in the English Channel. I was thinking about getting this one or a normal cartridge Epson printer. I don't print huge amounts and then it's in bursts every few months. As long as the heads don't get clogged up, like my last Epson printer with cartridges did, then I will go for this. Does it have it's own screen. I do love a screen to tell me what it's doing, when doing maintenance or checking the menu for something when the computer is off.

this is ok for phone set up even after 11 minutes set up time and a test print which is fine --- but trust me connect to a PC via USB cable can spit wont look at the old cable i used with a laser which works wont on this and the wireless won t look at wps of the router

My ET 2810 is arriving today and I'm about to install it. I'm not the brightest spark in the fire so I have a couple of questions. What did you download onto your 'phone? Will I need this? Also, I see the printer comes with a small CD. Where does that come into the installation process? Good clear video though. Thank you.

You don't need the phone app - I just used it because we had internet problems when filming and it was easier to set the printer up using the listed phone app Otherwise, you are fine to download the printer driver and software from the Epson website - just search for the printer model number and it should list everything relevant to download
