Epson Ecotank 2814 Sublimation Printer unboxing, set up & testing | I made a mistake!

I've got a EPSON 2810 and I just set up the printer using my phone and used the EPSONs own colour settings. Sublimation inks do print out a lot less vibrant, but after using my mug press all of my mugs have came out looking fantastic.

Hello. I have a problem with the ET 2814 printer. At the same time, 4 lights flash, namely the power button, the lower wifi light and both ink and paper lights. Thank you for your help.

Have you actually tried pressing those test prints onto anything? Sublimation prints will always look dull until they are transfered. Before you get too discouraged I think you should give that a go.

Hiya, thanks for your comment and recommendation. I've tried some yes, only on mugs so far, not tried the ones for bags yet. They are not quite how i want them yet but i think with some tweaks i will be able to get things looking ok. I just wish i did more research before investing.

Hiya, yes the ink came with the printer. I purchased it as a converted sublimation printer so the ink is sublimation ink. There should be a link to read more about it in the description but if not let me know and i'll grab it. The printer is good, yes, i think it depends though on what you would want to use it for. I do have another printer coming this week for art prints and other printing jobs so I'll see how I get on with that one.

@@Artanddesignbykb Oh great! I am actually not interested in sublimation right now, because purchasing a heat press for now is kinda out of my budget! (I'll probably convert it in the future tho) but my main goal for now is to print large amount of papers for a low price. So i was thinking to buy that 2814 because there's a discount on it.

Thanks for sharing your feedback about the printer, just to recap; the ink that came with it was normal ink? and you bought the sublimation ink apart? or it came with the sublimation ink?

I brought the printer and sublimation ink and paper separately. I looked at the sublimation printer bundles, but it works out more expensive doing it that way. It's a lot more cost effective buying the printer and Sublimation ink separately (I got the sublinova ink).

Obviously a VERY practically minded lady, presumably the Bosch drill is for stirring the coffee ! 😂😂😂

You have to print in maximum image quality. maybe that will help!
