Epson ET 15000 Phantom Paper Jam

you are blocking the view of removing the stripe....how do you know to clean it (and how) or just replace it? My printer will print paper from the cassette but gives error of paper jam when trying to feed from the back, Is it still the coder strip?

I usually clean it with a damp paper towel while it’s still on the machine. I am sorry about some parts of this being blocked and I will be uploading a better version in the future. If cleaning it with warm water on a Paper towel doesn’t help your problem. You need to replace it.

@@MattesPCExperts thank you for replying so quickly, and no, cleaning with a warm damp cloth did not help. trying to find the part on AliExpress but seems they have different name for it. Is CR scale encoder same thing? would an Epson L14150 be same model printer in say the UK or other country? Manuals and all information seem the same, of course ink number is 504 instead of 502 but then they have ink numbers there that we don't lol

hello again, got the replacement part and managed to get it installed by only removing side with maintenance box....I made sure the black mark was at top on left hand side with spring BUT still get the paper jam message and it telling me to turn off printer................what now? oh error code is 000043 does that matter?

Gonna have to research it on the internet. This video is about phantom paper jam that’s caused by the encoder strip. I don’t have all the answers, sorry. Especially when the machines not in front of me.
