Thank you so much! I bought the key to reset the printer. Then I rinsed the filters and dried them in a lingerie bag on med heat for 30 minutes. Now the printer is working just fine.

So would it make sense to buy a new printer and before the first use install the tank beforehand? Can I bypass the counting with that and use it unlimited or do I still need to reset it at some point, even though it cannot actually count if I empty the bottle over and over again? If so, does buying one key be enough also for the future and we can redo that cycle with the reset over and over or do we only have to do that once it says that it reached the end of the lifecyle?

I have an epson ET m1120 ECOTANK. I want to seek the following solution. I would like to replace the inkt inside with special stencal inkt. How could I proceed to remove the existing inkt in the ecotank and fill it with the special stencil inkt? I think that I should see if i can remove the tank and turn upside down, if possible. What I have tried so far is insering a seringe to see if i could vacum the inkt out. But the needle wont go through, and I dont want to force it. Any advice and suggestions are welcome.

My question is that little bar the ink think moves back and forth across inside the printer... is that supposed to be wet or dry? I wiped it on accident looking for a jam (having the E-01 error) and black slick came off of it and now idk if that's supposed to be there or sign somethings up with it

I have an epson et-4700 printer which is on the list of compatible printers. I’ve downloaded the software but it says I have to connect a usb for my printer model to show up. I don’t see a port on my printer to plug in a usb, just the power cord. Can someone tell me how I can fix this issue?

I have reset my Epson Ecotank 4700...got my filled maintenance box dealt with and haven't gotten to use it. It originally said there was a paper jam...I thought I got that dealt with but now it keeps saying Paper remains inside Load a4 papersize (I use USA regular size paper) in Rear paper feed slot to remove the paper. It will feed a little of the paper in and then stops rolling it in and won't do anything but keep coming back to this message. Of course my warranty went out on Aug 3 2022 and it is August 25 2022 so warranty isn't an option. Any ideas of how to fix this by chance?

The waste tank on the ET-4750 has a chip with electrical contacts on the side of the tank that must count the number of cleanings that have been done. Then you would have to order a new waste tank from Epson at the end of its life. So it may be that this video is for the printers without the chip. But the videographer doesn't mention if this is true. I guess that his ET 4700 would have a counter on the tank that counts the number of cleanings rather than the amount of waste ink. Software to reset the chip counter cost $10 and a new tank costs $10 with free shipping. You can also try to clean the system by printing pages of a solid color if you find how to make a page in a word processor all black, all cyan, all yellow, all magenta, etc thus no ink goes to the container. I have the four files that are needed from another videographer on KZbin. So if I'm right it's a waste of time to bypass the tanks with counter chips because the chip counts the number of cleanings, not the amount of ink in the tank. Please answer.

Lift up front panel and on black wall (where your serial number is located), there is a screw on far corner of each side. Remove those to lift up top. Do not lift too high or you'll pull some ribbons and have more work. Trust me. I know.

I can't afford to buy a new one, esp. with how much I've spent on supplies this year! 😫 This machine, ET-4750 has me so upset with Epson. I bought a new waste tank, and I'm getting the bottle, connector, tubing all of that, (its not here yet) but I still can't reset the E-11 code. I bought the code and it comes up as malware and won't let me use it - whats the deal?

There are some programs even if they are benign will cause both Windows and whatever AV/firewall setup you have to lose their mind(s) and getting around them is a pain. You will have to manually whitelist them and they absolutely do not make that easy. I had to copy the downloaded file name from the website, paste to a document and type it manually into the window I found several branches down the tree under advanced settings. If you have to run a suspect windows executable I'd recommend creating a liveUSB of Knoppix, one of the few Linux distros that comes WINE and a lot of drivers preinstalled.

These EcoTanks are pretty good. I have an ET-2720 that printed 25,000 pages and an ET-4750 that’s over 37,000 pages. Both are still working fine.

Why the hell would Epson design a stupid ass printer like the ET- 4700, where you can't lift the lid to get access to easily clean the print heads, knowing it, eventually, will need to be done? That individual or team of designers need to be fired for such an asinine, and ten, design.
