hi Vandebilt.. i cant seem to find the video for part 002. suffice to say i took the whole unit apart as u saw & used the shower to clean all the excess ink out. took quiet a few goes until the water ran clean. then i dried every component using a hairdryer on low heat & left to completely dry for a few days. then i put it back together & it worked :)

after watching the video I could not work out how to get the print head out, the part that holds the cartridges in was a little loose, I found you could unclick that at the top by pulling it forwards carefully, that then lifted out and then the print head was free to lift up, you have to carefully disconnect the two ribbon connectors into the print head then you can give it a good clean

You said at 4.00 the sponges have degraded, the same issue with me, how can we replace this?

hi @lionzzz24.. if u can find another printer of the same model then u can swap from the donar printer.. alternatively you can order some absorbant sponge online & cut into thin strips to do the main areas
