I can't believe this printer is 3 years old! I just got mine delivered today, so I'm trying to educate myself on it while the ink is charging. I actually didn't think I'd have this printer this soon 😝

Great things from Epson. Hopefully there will be an 'official' 13"x19" desktop version released sometime. Sawgrass will finally have proper competition. Looking foward to seeing how it prints and any ICC profiling.

Are you able to use this printer to print on 100% cotton or we only still able to print on polyester

Dye sublimation is for poly only, the cotton prints are hacks using chemicals or decals.

Betcha a bottle of ink cost a hundred bucks or close to it. Ink prices are what stop your sublimation dreams before they even really get started. Oh yea, and the lines that will show in your blacks

each bottle of ink is $17.99 - $71.96 for all 4 total. Don't know what sublimation system you've been using but I don't have 'lines' showing up in my 'blacks'...

Compared to DTG, Eco Solvent, Latex & UV printers, this can be affordable if you save up for it. Inks would most likely be cheaper than Sawgrass printers anyway.
