Haha, I had to do it, I used to listed to this song years ago when it came out and I always liked those words at the end despite not knowing where they're from, but recently I decided to finally finish adventure time, I watched some parts of the first few seasons back when they were coming out in my country but I never specifically went to watch and finish the series because I just didn't know it was that good. But I heard some years ago after it finished that in fact it was brilliant, so I decided to give it a go like last year and have watched episodes here and there the past year but last week I really picked up my pace with season 5, which was really amazing. And yeah I got to season 6 and that bombshell of a speech happened and I immediately recognized the beginning but I didn't know where from so it took me like 2 hours to finally get to the exact song, this one. It's not really my jam anymore tho, I like other stuff now and dumb step and trap and whatever have kinda fallen off for me, especially as I got more into audiophile gear, I've started listening to more diverse electronic music artists like flume, porter robinson, gesaffelstein, jon hopkins, justice, madeon, mat zo, odesza, disclosure, bonobo, daft punk, deadmau5, to name... mostly all of them. I think some would say this is kinda basic but hey, I'm still discovering stuff and looking for new albums from time to time.
