@@robrfoster - Understandable. People are definitely conditioned nowadays to get to max level very quickly. It's a slow burn for sure!

200 hours to max level really isn't much considering older grinding MMOs - people are very much conditioned to maybe 50 hours tops these days.

200+ and that's as a pretty experienced player. I wouldn't doubt if it took 300+ for other players.

which classes are better at aoe dps?

Conjurors/Necromancers/Wizards/Warlocks are all good aoe dps. Swashbuckler gets more aoe tools next expansion.

Nope. I think total I probably used maybe 5 on top of the two I got in the pack.

@@bear.necessities you mention at the end of the video that you’d be leveling with vitality. Can you expand on that? If you hit 50, what other leveling is there to do? I’m def missing something so appreciate any info

This server has waaaaaaaaaaay too much mindless grinding the same dungeon over and over and over for hours. They fixed that in eq2 right after launch. Really dont recommend this server until the devs address major issues

There's definitely a few level ranges that are rough, but there are definitely options -- you just gotta move around to shake things up.

@@bear.necessities I lvl 44, I'm grinding it out, but I brought around 6 new players to the server and they have all quit. The exp was too slow to keep their interest unfortunately. The lead developer apparently has said he is against discovery exp because it causes server lag and against the server in general because it wasnt his idea. That's what the discord says. I'm having spots of fun but I put a dire warning on new players coming here: this server is likely to die at any point

I don't think the server will "die" at any point. There's a committed playerbase still enjoying the game. For people who are new and came from other slow-paced xp games like Project 1999, the pacing feels normal to them. However, if you come from WoW or FF14 or are used to modern MMO pacing, this is going to feel very slow. Sorry they couldn't make it! I had a lot of friends who didn't make it either.
