A film by Richard Taylor investigating claims of systemic racism in British policing including a panel discussion chaired by a youthful Magnus Magnusson. A fascinating snapshot of the attitudes of the time and a useful addition to the contemporary discussions around the Windrush scandal and Black Lives Matter. Huge changes were underway in society that highlighted the vital importance of finding a way to discuss deeply held views on race and immigration as Britain sought to find a way to move on from it's colonial past. Much has changed since then - but many of the problems shown in this film remain.
