@@choomuh I have never lived in Buffalo actually haha. I also went to an Ink and Dagger show there one time. I was living in Syracuse at the time, when I traveled to those two shows.

that same year they headlined a metal festival in northampton, ma. coalesce was on the bill too. converge played around 11pm, and the place went insane. they closed with this song, and when they got to the singalong at 5:20 the place turned into a Hieronymous Bosch painting.

Grew up seeing these guys in my area of western MA and beyond. This is my fav song from my favorite album. I’ve always thought that this is like the metal version of Bohemian Rhapsody.

My favorite converge album. Were some of the lyrics taken from the Red House Painters song "Things Mean A Lot"? And why was the Twisted Sister cover left off the reissue? Converge isn't deathcore and never has been. They're a hardcore band. If you're someone that really cares about genres, they're mathcore but they don't call themselves that

@@liamsweeney4754 this was just standard metalcore of the time like As The Sun Sets, deathcore of the 90s was bands like goatamentise, one last sin, embodyment, end of one. look up the song Religious Infamy or Swine by Embodyment. or Goatamentise - No Heaven No Hell. i grew up in the northeast hardcore scene in NY during the 90s and 00s.
