Depends on what bands or scene you listened to, like the late 90’s mathcore Stuff was pretty awesome even though it became a little stale after awhile and early metalcore like killswitch and as I lay dying are pretty awesome and then now with bands like Knocked Loose and Jesus Piece it’s going through a bit of a revival.

I was obsessed with this band in '07. Still love them. Grew up in Alaska and my friends played bands trying so hard to emulate their sound. Finally saw them live in Seattle in 2020. For me it was like seeing led zeppelin lol I was starstruck.
